Matthew 28: 19- 20; Go ye, therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of Father, and of the Son, and the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
The only commandment committed to the trust of every Christian is soul winning. You got this eternal life for free, the least you could do is extend that arm that was given to you to someone else.
Many people get consumed in their wants, desires, and expectations of God that they fail to see that God also has needs. Mark 16: 15; “And he said unto them, Go ye into the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.” and Luke 14: 23; “And the Lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that the house may be filled.”
God sent His word who became flesh in the person of Jesus to reconcile the world to Himself. He wants to have a relationship with all His children. The Bible records that Heaven rejoices at the repentance of one sinner. God uses men to reach men. He needs you to go out and tell that neighbor, coworker, boss, sister, parent of yours about Him.
I once asked the Holy Spirit, “Why should a person go win souls when they are in pain or going through a situation?” He then responded by telling me, “Because always, the person you meet on your going out is always someone going through something similar to you. And in your communication with that person, the answers you needed will be provided you”.
Hell is real as much as Heaven is. And you do not want to see people you know on earth trooping to hell because you forgot to minister to them or did not persist enough on them hearing what message to Him. On Judgement day, God will ask you what you did with the souls He committed to your trust. Determine today what you want your response to be!
